Employment Information

AeroParts & Supply has been selling aircraft parts and supplies, since 1994. Our FAA certified part 145 repair station offers tire change service and overhauls, for all size business jets. We also are a full-service certified aircraft battery shop. Located in Dallas, on Dallas Executive Airport.

Summary

This position is responsible for accurately and efficiently dismounting the tire from the wheel along with cleaning and blasting of wheel and wheel hardware, and reassembling, to return wheel to service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Disassemble and reassemble wheels, to standard operating procedures.

· Maintain an accurate record of work completed.

· Maintain a clean workstation.

· Other duties as assigned, which may include delivering products to local customers, with a company vehicle

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Excellent written and oral communication skills in order to effectively interact with all levels of staff from different departments effectively.

· Well-developed interpersonal skills that promote and foster a team culture.

· Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills in order to prioritize workload according to business demands.

· Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

· General computer knowledge.

· Strong attention to detail required.

A valid driver's license is required.

Required Education and Experience

· High School Diploma or equivalent required.

· Experience in production and manufacturing environment preferred.

Physical Demands

DOT/FAA regulations require all applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required submit to a pre-employment drug test as well as random testing annually.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
