Employment Information
This role will support the Installation Support Services (ISS2) contract.

This position requires the employee to work on-site at Eareckson Air Station, Shemya, AK. Transportation to Shemya will be provided from Anchorage, AK, the point of hire. The program will provide Meals and housing while working on the Island. Employees will live in a dormitory housing environment, and meals will be furnished daily through the cafeteria commissary. This role is perfect for someone who can be away for long periods working on the Island with occasional scheduled trips back to Anchorage, AK.

General Summary

Performs all duties in moving passengers and materials on and off the Island.

Essential Duties and Responsibilites

  • Take instructions from the Air Field Manager.
  • Maintain and operate the airfield - A006, Aircraft Arrival/Departure Log
  • Respond to aircraft.
  • Respond to requests for aircraft refueling and de-fueling and flight line support equipment.
  • Conduct capability forecasting.
  • Conduct passenger services for EAS.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and use conventional digital multimeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, frequency counters, oscilloscopes, circuit card testers, transistor testers, and hand tools.
  • Oversee the operations of AGE during aircraft servicing
  • Prepare equipment for storage and mobility deployment.
  • Maintain vehicle and equipment records using automated maintenance data systems to monitor maintenance trends, analyze equipment requirements, maintain equipment records, and document maintenance actions.
  • Provide dispatch service, including positioning equipment to support aircraft maintenance and flying operations
  • Operate forklifts, hoists, and cranes.
  • Practice good housekeeping, tool control, Foreign Object Damage prevention, and safety at all times.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience as an Aircraft servicer or similar duties.
  • MS Office
  • Ability to pass National Agency Check with Inquiries background check
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
