The Maintenance Controller is responsible for coordinating scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of aircraft. This is an office position (non-remote). The incumbent will be required to relocate within a reasonable commuting distance to Palm Beach, FL. Various shifts are available. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

JOB DESCRIPTION: MAINTENANCE CONTROLLER

FLSA STAUS: NON-EXEMPT

REPORT TO: DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE

Key Duties

  • Answer phones and emails while on duty to coordinate maintenance events with maintenance providers.
  • Keep SOCC informed of aircraft status.
  • Audit approved maintenance providers per the GMM and assist in maintaining authorized vendor data base.
  • Verify documents prior to release from maintenance.
  • Track unscheduled maintenance events per the CASS program.
  • Assist with and track the MEL process.
  • Coordinate technical publications in support of approved vendors.
  • Prioritize equipment repair needs.
  • May provide training to the right candidate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum age of 18 years-old.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English.
  • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S per the Immigration Act of 1986.
  • Must pass 10-year background check and pre-employment drug screen per airline and/or company regulations.

Preferred

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate. Training may be provided for the right candidate.
  • Prior maintenance control experience.

Physical requirements:

  • General office duties.
