The Aircraft Director of Maintenance is a critical role within the Corporate Wings organization providing technical support and ensuring the airworthiness of a dedicated Global XRS. He/She will interact with the Lead Captain to ensure there are no owner schedule disruptions. This dedicated aircraft will operate approximately 450 hours a year. This position will report to the Corporate Wings Director of Maintenance.

Responsibilities
- Work within Corporate Wings to maintain a culture of safety with efficient procedures that support customer service.
- Responsible to maintain a safe and airworthy aircraft to which they are assigned.
- Responsible to maintain the aircraft to CFR 135 operating rules per the certificate holders GMM.
- Plans, schedules, and assigns maintenance tasks requested through work orders.
- Supervises and performs aircraft maintenance on assigned aircraft.
- Directs the work of outside maintenance contractors and vendors.
- Develop, tracks, and meets the capitol and expense budget for a project, service, and/or flight operations.
- Reviews and approves maintenance related invoices from vendors.
- Supervises maintenance planning for upcoming maintenance events.
- Orders parts for current and upcoming maintenance events.
- Performs duties as Maintenance Technician.
- Support flight operations before and after flights as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned depending on assignment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; 2-4 years of university or trade school required.
EXPERIENCE/LICENSES:
- Minimum 5 years maintenance experience with high performance turbine aircraft.
- Experience with Global Express.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have a current A&P License (Inspection Authorization, IA, preferred)
- Must have a valid US Passport.
- No undisclosed FAA accidents or sanctions.
- Successful completion of a background check and a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
OTHER ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must reside within 2 hours of New Orleans, LA (KNEW Lakefront.)
- Required to work varying hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Willing and able to travel, as required, including international travel.
- Service-oriented with a neat, well-groomed appearance and a demonstrated ability to make a positive impression including a strong capability to effectively interact with clients.
- Must demonstrate the ability to make quick and accurate decisions while paying close attention to detail, both from a technical and financial perspective
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be a team player.
