Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd and Weekend!

  • All shifts available! $25-$30/hour DOE

Pay: $25/hr +
Quality Inspector Essential Job Duties:

  • Work with internal functional areas to measure and maintain quality performance, communicate issues or concerns, assist in resolving issues and assist in achieving quality objectives.
  • Perform product quality audits and inspections of parts, incoming parts, finished goods, manufacturing output and in-process manufacturing activities. After completing these activities, update databases, create reports, and implement improvements and train operators as necessary to resolve issues.
  • Execute typical quality systems activities as directed by supervision including but not limited to corrective actions, calibration, inspection and tests, non-conforming materials, audits, etc.
  • Assist manufacturing team and engineering in resolving issues and eliminating defects in manufacturing, supply chain and with customers
  • Prepare reports, one-point lessons, improvement plans, quality objectives, metrics, audits and communications to support quality and operating excellence.

Quality Inspector Background Profile:

  • Technical degree preferred
  • Understanding of GD&T
  • Experience running a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) is preferred but not required
  • One to two years of manufacturing or quality experience
  • ISO 9000 or equivalent experience a plus
  • Root Cause Analysis tools and Corrective Action Systems
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, convert from English to metric
  • Knowledge and experience with measurement hand tools such as calibers, micrometers, plug / thread gages, etc.
