Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our databases. You will also be involved in planning and development, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Duties:
- Design, implement, and maintain databases
- Monitor database performance and optimize as needed
- Ensure data integrity and security
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies
- Collaborate with development teams to design efficient database structures
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as updates and patches
- Create and maintain documentation related to database systems

Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience and skills:
- Proven experience in database administration
- Strong knowledge of databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data
- Experience with database administration tools and utilities
- Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
- Knowledge of performance tuning techniques
- Scripting skills (e.g., Shell Scripting) for automation tasks
- Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) is a plus
