Description:Reporting to the Senior Warehouse Operations Manager, the Warehouse Operations Manager leads and manages warehouse operations team across multiple shifts to ensure employee safety and operational efficiency. Oversees shipping, receiving, material movements & storage and schedule adherence; supports a culture of continuous improvement in labor efficiency, service levels, housekeeping and inventory transactional integrity.
In this role, you will be successful in:

  • Creating a positive and proactive safety culture. Demonstrates strong commitment and leadership to providing a sustainable, safe, and healthful work environment. Ensures full compliance with all applicable company and regulatory environmental, health, safety and security measures.
  • Collaborating with HR to ensure adequate staffing levels and leads programs & initiatives to ensure employee development and training, employee engagement efforts, performance assessments and overall employee retention efforts.
  • Promoting, supporting and ensuring compliance with all food safety and quality practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Effectively operates and utilizes ERP, WMS software packages and MS Office Suite applications.
  • Leading the organization’s efforts in regular reviews of the department’s operating procedures and processes.
  • Assists warehouse leadership team with the development and implementation of a leadership development program for the warehouse supervisors and group leaders.
  • Developing, assessing and reporting relevant departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for labor efficiency, housekeeping and operational efficiency.
  • Managing the organization’s equipment lease and maintenance programs.
  • Leading the warehouse supervisors and group leads in achieving operational efficiency, leadership development, housekeeping and service level improvement programs.
  • Collaborating with the Systems Reliability Engineer in the effective and efficient usage of the semi-automated raw material storage system.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; 5 years minimum of relevant operational or warehouse management experience required
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Able to define and analyze problems, collect and understand pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and implement corrective actions
  • Competent with ERP Planning and WMS systems
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Able to successfully develop, manage and lead cross functional projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
