Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager who is skilled in operating forklifts, proficient in quality control procedures, and capable of managing warehouse operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management, logistics, and team leadership; along with expertise in maintaining quality standards within a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and quality control processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Implement efficient workflows to optimize productivity and minimize errors.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as needed.

Forklift Operation:

  • Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure they are in proper working condition.
  • Train and supervise warehouse staff on safe forklift operation techniques.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while operating forklifts.

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize shrinkage and loss.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and make informed decisions to optimize inventory levels.

Quality Control:

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure product integrity and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular inspections of incoming and outgoing goods to verify quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor product quality throughout the storage and distribution process, taking corrective action as necessary.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets and goals.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance team members' skills.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
  • Address any performance or conduct issues promptly and professionally.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Investigate and report any accidents or incidents in the warehouse.
  • Implement corrective actions to prevent future safety hazards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a warehouse manager or supervisor, with at least [X years] of experience in a similar role.
  • Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrated proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures within a warehouse environment.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members at all levels.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
