Title: VP of Global IT Strategic Operations

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As the VP of Global IT Strategic Operations, your primary focus will be on aligning technology solutions with the overall global business strategy. You’ll also play a critical role in optimizing processes, enhancing efficiency, driving innovation and change across the organization.
  • Strategic Planning and Alignment:
    • Collaborate with senior leadership and business stakeholders to define global IT strategies that support organizational goals.
    • Develop and execute strategic plans for approved IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
    • Partner with IT departmental leaders to coordinate projects and programs across the global organization.
    • Resource for IT departmental teams, ensuring successful IT delivery to support the business.
    • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Process Optimization and Governance:
    • Streamline IT processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
    • Establish and review governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to manage IT operations effectively.
    • Develop a strong working knowledge of Liberated business processes and tools to promote best practices and provide support to service brands in problem solving.
  • Vendor Management and Budgeting:
    • Manage corporate system vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate service providers.
    • Assist in developing and managing IT budgets, tracking expenses and optimizing resource allocation.
    • Ensure cost-effective solutions while maintaining service quality.
  • Onboarding, Change Management, and Communication:
    • Provide leadership in the onboarding of new brands, working closely with Liberated functional leaders and IT teams to align on an operational path forward for implementation.
    • Oversee change initiatives related to IT systems, ensuring smooth transitions.
    • Communicate IT strategies, updates, and performance metrics to relevant stakeholders during regular steering committee meetings.
    • Foster collaboration between IT teams and other business units.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
  • Ability to organize, multi-task, work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Desire to provide leadership and work with a team to meet aggressive timelines in a growing and changing environment.
  • Knowledge of all operational areas of the company (Finance, Planning, Buying, Product, Sales, Supply Chain, Ecom, Retail).
  • Knowledge of IT corporate systems, requirements and integrations.
  • Experience in the management of operating and capital expenditure budgets.
  • Strong customer service background.
  • Experience in the apparel industry a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management and documentation.
  • This position requires some hours at our HQ in Costa Mesa, CA; however, some duties can be performed remotely.

Liberated Brands is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Costa Mesa, CA is $160,000 - $175,000. This position is Hybrid and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skill set, certifications, and specific work location.
