Tow Truck Operator/Driver

About us

Black-owned towing company that specializes in providing professional and reliable towing based in Upper Marlboro, MD and the surrounding DC, Maryland and Virginia areas. Our drivers are self-motivated independent contractors who are expected to uphold all contract duties/responsibilities including great customer service, prompt service completion times, maintaining equipment/operating trucks, operation safety, etc. Drivers with extensive towing experience is preferable, however training will be conducted for beginner drivers.

Driver responsibilities

• Arrive to work in timely manner
• Successfully and efficiently complete light-medium duty towing including roadside services (jump starts, lock outs, tire changes), accidents, break-downs and/or removal of illegally placed vehicles
• Strong communication skills with customers, including providing accurate ETA's when en route
• Perform routine inspection checks on trucks in beginning/end of shift; reporting any damage done to trucks immediately
• Maintain clean operating conditions in the trucks.
• Flexibility with schedule if needed

Pay: $3,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
