We are currently looking to add a Supply Chain Manager to the team due to growth!

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Train and manage individuals who handle sourcing and procurement.
  • Manage suppliers and maintain relationships.
  • Provide regular reports to the President.
  • Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality.
  • Implement new or improved supply chain processes to improve efficiency or performance.
  • Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production, or quality assurance.
  • Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service.
  • Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.
  • Analyze information about supplier performance or procurement program success.
  • Monitor suppliers' activities to assess performance in meeting quality or delivery requirements.
  • Design or implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
  • Ensure team places purchase orders in a timely manner

Qualifications:

-Knowledge of:

  • Aerospace supply chain operations
  • Aerospace manufacturing and quality processes
  • Aerospace adhesive bonding and composite processes
  • FAR/DFAR Knowledge preferred

-Experience with:

  • Government Contracts

-Proficiency in:

  • Job BOSS ERP or similar ERP system
  • Microsoft Office suite & Microsoft Applications

-Ability to learn on the job and in a fast-paced environment

Experience:

  • 5+ years prior procurement management experience
  • Aerospace manufacturing preferred

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Business, or related field
  • Will substitute years of experience for degree

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
