Camp Nurse must be a registered nurse, licensed in the State of Ohio with experience in pediatrics, working with children, or in a camp setting. Must have current CPR and First Aid certification. Must be at least 21 years old to apply.

Assistant Camp Nurse must be a nursing student, medical student or an EMT with experience or the desire to work with children. Must have current CPR and First Aid certification.

JOB STARTS: June 3rd and runs till August 9, 2024

Essential Duties: As a Camp Nurse, you will ensure the nursing care plan is being followed. Working alongside other nurses to ensure the plan of care for the camper population.

Specific responsibilities of the RN Registered Nurse include:

• Assessing sick or injured campers/staff
• Administering camper and staff meds as needed
• Timely and accurate documentation
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data
• Promoting continuous quality improvement

Camp Nurse Qualifications:

• Valid RN Registered Nurse license in state of Ohio
• At least 1 year experience preferred
• CPR/First Aid and AED Certified
