SQL DBA
Up to $115K
Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in their search for a SQL DBA to join their team in the Indianapolis, IN area. This successful resource will be responsible for designing, building, and administering databases and data warehouses.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Investigate and resolve issues to ensure optimal database performance
- Provide 24 X 7 on-call database support as part of a rotation.
- Monitor server performance and provide resolutions as necessary
- Tune servers and databases for maximum performance
- Lead the deployment effort of new technologies
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of SQL server database experience
- Able to troubleshoot and resolve database problems
- Experience with installation, patching, performance tuning, and compliance
- Experience with Oracle
- Experience with backup and restores.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
PREFERRED SKILLS/CHARACTERISTICS:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
- Experience with data design and ingestion
TERMS:
This is a direct hire opportunity with a salary up to $115K based on experience. They offer benefits including full medical, dental, and vision along with 401K, bonus potential, generous PTO, and other benefits.
