Develop, review or evaluate all computer software documentation with a focus on software safety. This may include, Software Safety, Software Quality, Program Plans, and Software Configuration Management Plans, Software Development Plans, Software Requirements Specifications, Interface Design documents, Software System Safety Program Plan, Software test plans and software test reports.

Attend, contribute to, and report on formal software reviews, In Process Reviews, Software IPT, Corrective action board technical interchange meetings, Software System Safety Working Groups and Technical Review panels, and design/test implementation reviews.

Develop software schedules to support systems and subsystems development, integration, test, and deployment to include Army Interoperability Certification (AIC), Software Material Release (SMR), and policy and configuration management of systems and subsystems.

Collect, analyze, and report data trends and findings related to product and processes applied to software measurement, software quality, software system safety, software reliability, software maintainability, Army and DoD software safety information assurance requirements and implementation, Common Operating Environment (COE) standards and implementation, and software metrics. Provide detailed assessment of software costs and progress to schedule.
