Seeking dependable and competent candidate to serve as Shop Foreman/Production Manager for a small manufacturing company. We want someone who is looking for a long-term position - not a short-term step to another job elsewhere.

Manage the correct, efficient, and timely manufacturing of all projects by hiring and maintaining skilled operators and helpers for all shop positions. Manage staff levels of production crews according to workflow demands and job requirements. This may require soliciting temporary workers on occasion; and will require calling in specialists to assist with facility issues and machine repairs.

Candidates should have a strong and responsible work ethic; be proficient at managing employees (approximately 15-20 direct reports); be able to organize and multi-task; and have the technical ability to learn and run most equipment in the shop.

Hours:

7’30am-4’00pm – sometimes more pending special circumstances (i.e. projects need to be completed based on commitments to customers)

Monday-Friday – except observe 6 national Holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
