Full job description

TCAG is looking for a full-time Shipping and Inventory Manager to be part of our expanding warehouse operations. This person will need to work with the warehouse staff, as well as enjoy frequent collaboration with other teams in making business decisions. This position will manage the daily operations of the front end of the warehouse and all shipping functions.

Job Description

General Responsibilities

  • Processing, packaging and shipping orders accurately
  • Order fulfillment oversight and management of pick and pack staff
  • Manage product stock to ensure sufficient levels
  • Manage to eliminate any backorders
  • Assist in receiving and material handling as needed
  • Inventory management and warehouse space optimization
  • Collaboration with purchasing staff to optimize product purchasing levels
  • Coordinate with suppliers and transportation companies
  • Receive, inspect, & record inventory deliveries
  • Communicate with senior management on stock levels, trends, issues etc.
  • Manage quarterly inventory reconciliation and cycle counts
  • Oversight of inventory management, warehousing, and shipping software
  • Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and processes
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness of warehouse and inventory
  • Manage and maintain shipping supplies

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of Warehouse management best practices
  • Experience with inventory management and shipping platforms

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration preferred but not required
  • Forklift experience preferred but not required
  • Leadership skills
  • Some previous warehouse experience required
  • General understanding of warehouse management best practices
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds - 60 pounds on a regular basis
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday 8:00-5:00

Work Location: In person

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $59,762.00 - $65,000.00 per year
