Description:
We are currently seeking a seasoned and strategic-minded Senior Procurement Manager with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry to lead our procurement efforts both domestically and internationally. This role will be pivotal in developing and executing procurement strategies to optimize cost savings, quality, and efficiency across our global supply chain within the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, supply chain management, and supplier relationship management within the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies tailored to the unique requirements of the oil and gas sector.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contractual agreements for goods and services, including equipment, materials, and services specific to oil and gas operations.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conducting thorough assessments of their capabilities, quality standards, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, operations, and finance teams, to understand their procurement needs and align procurement strategies with overall business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and geopolitical factors affecting the oil and gas industry to proactively identify risks and opportunities in the supply chain.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance, conducting regular performance reviews, addressing issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies governing procurement activities within the oil and gas sector.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the oil and gas industry.
- Deep understanding of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, and contract management specific to the oil and gas sector.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating complex contracts and agreements with suppliers in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry-specific equipment, materials, and services used in upstream, midstream, or downstream operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) preferred.
- Experience working with international suppliers and managing procurement operations across multiple countries and regions.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the oil and gas industry.
- Strong network of contacts within the oil and gas industry, including suppliers, contractors, and industry associations.
