Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering Quality Analyst to support the Design Quality & Integrity function within the Mission Systems strategic business unit. Ideal candidates should possess a passion for problem solving and satisfying customers through the delivery of improvements to the global engineering ecosystem, including providing compelling gains to the consistency, efficiency, and productivity of product development efforts across engineering processes and programs. The focus of this position will be to analyze Design and Development processes and develop new methods to improve productivity, efficiency, and operational costs. The Sr Manager, Process Analyst role examines the way an organization operates and its performance goals, and recommends ways to achieve overall improvement. This position is performed with minimal supervision and requires a candidate with highly-effective communication skills, a strong bias for action, and the ability to prioritize and advance multiple objectives.

The successful candidate will have many of the following skills/experience:

• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, business processes, engineering design process

• Knowledge of or experience with change control and configuration management

• Experience in a design or manufacturing environment

• Experience with Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methods

• Forward-thinking, with ability to identify areas for improvement/automation

• Experience with business process management tools (e.g., Stages)

• Ability to adapt to change

• Ability to develop a schedule and accomplish tasks on schedule

• Experience with agile teams and agile processes

• Experience with change management tools (e.g. Jira, Subversion, etc.)

• Collaborate with teammates to make the best decisions

• Enjoy learning new technologies

• Be self-motivated to contribute in a work environment positively

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

• Ability to work independently or within a team

• Positive attitude and eager to learn and improve

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee data collection and trend analysis

• Perform process quality assessments on design work product

• Perform agile roles within a team

• Perform bidding and estimating activities

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret Security Clearance is required

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
