Job Title: Senior Database Administrator (Cosmos DB)

Location: Remote

• Responsible for the support of Cosmos Database instances running in MS Azure.
• Ability to help design and troubleshoot related Cosmos Database issues. Help train existing DBAs on Cosmos Database.
• Assist in the data migration and implementation and configuration of Cosmos DB. Lead a team and participate in on-call rotation to support the customer.

Skills (Note those including “experience” are requirements)

• 5+ Years Cosmos related work experience
• Migration design and execution experience
• Cosmos data modeling knowledge
• Cosmos DB RU migration knowledge
• Cosmos DB vCore migration knowledge
• Azure Data Factory and/or Data Bricks knowledge
• API for NoSQL experience
• Application DBA skills to tune application queries and the underlying model experience
• .net SDK and Java SDK for Cosmos/NoSQL Workload optimization is important experience
