The Registered Nurse, within the same or a comparable clinical environment, operates autonomously while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the situation. Delivers both routine and intricate care, showcasing proficiency in establishing long-term goals and plans. Progressively enhances the capacity to handle and navigate the uncertainties inherent in clinical nursing. Effectively assigns tasks and delegates responsibilities to other healthcare providers to effectively manage the clinical scenario.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leadership: Meet expectations in leadership.
  • Patient Care: Provide nursing care following ANA standards.
  • Assessment: Evaluate and address complex patient needs.
  • Medication Admin: Administer treatments using protocols.
  • Documentation: Record patient history and care details.
  • Education: Assess and educate patients and caregivers.
  • Critical Thinking: Assess and communicate patient needs.
  • Care Planning: Develop evidence-based care plans.
  • Implementation/Evaluation: Implement and evaluate patient care.
  • Competency: Participate in unit-specific competencies.
  • Patient Flow: Manage patient throughput and discharges.
  • Order Accuracy: Coach on order validation.
  • Unit Management: Plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care.
  • Resource Stewardship: Manage equipment and supplies.
  • Staffing: Assess staffing needs and contribute to resourcing.
  • Education on Operations: Educate on industry operations.
  • Safety Practices: Integrate patient safety practices.
  • Accountability: Demonstrate accountability for quality improvement.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate patient information.
  • Legal Compliance: Comply with healthcare laws.
  • Policy Adherence: Follow organizational clinical policies.
  • Feedback: Provide feedback for improvement.
  • Control Mechanisms: Work with monitoring mechanisms.
  • Documentation Flow: Ensure proper information flow.
  • Equipment Management: Inspect and troubleshoot medical equipment.
  • Medical Orders: Process medical orders accurately.
  • Chart Review: Review patient charts for accuracy.
  • Safety Concerns: Recognize and address safety issues.
  • Incident Reporting: Utilize systems for real-time reporting.

Must Have's:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
  • 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty
  • BLS
  • RN License in state of employment or compact

Salary: BASED ON EXPERIENCE $27-$43
