Job Summary

As a RN at Mon Health you will coordinate total patient centered care ensuring optimal service to the communities we serve.

At the Mon Health Family Birth Center we pride ourselves on the personal connection we have with each of our patients and the quality support we provide our families. Our 16-bed LDRP style unit is outfitted with comfortable furnishings and fixtures to make patients and their families feel at home during their stay.

Our team follows AWHONN staffing guidelines for the following unit roles:

  • Labor
  • Triage
  • Postpartum
  • Maxi-care nursery
  • OR circulator
  • PACU/Recovery

Education Requirements

Incumbent must be a graduate of school of nursing.

Experience Requirements

Effective interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively collaborate with physicians, and instruct patients and their families.

Certifications/ Licensure Requirements

Must possess licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in WV. Must possess BLS certification within probationary period.

Physical Requirements

Heavy Work

Exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 lbs. of force constantly.
