IT’SUGAR is looking for a fun and dynamic Retail Operations Manager to join our team. The Retail Operations Manager will oversee the back-of-house operations and store visual standards to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of retail programs.

Act as Manager on Duty:
- Oversees the daily sales operation of the store and ensures sales objectives are met.
- Evaluates back-of-house operations on an ongoing basis and makes recommendations/initiates action to enhance productivity, efficiency, effectiveness and profitability.
- Holds self and staff accountable to our Core Values and coaches to the behaviors associated with them.
- Makes recommendations on staffing decisions including employment, discipline, training, assignment, and termination for assigned functions.
- Fosters a productive work environment through consistent coaching, training and engagement of Sales Associates.
- Demonstrates a positive, outgoing and enthusiastically brand proud attitude that is representative of our core values.
- Follow our customer engagement model, SUGARTAINMENT.
- Promotes safety for both our customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines.
- Partners with store manager to identify ongoing challenges and present solutions.
Support Store Operations
- Supervise and provide support in all operational responsibilities to ensure the timely execution of all pricing, signage, replenishment, plan-o-grams, shipping and receiving in order to maintain inventory accuracy and ideal product flow.
- Audit merchandise orders and inventory levels for accuracy and consistency.
- Accountable for product merchandising and ensuring that displays are up to visual guidelines.
- Ensure the sales floor replenishment process is completed daily.
- Execute the store’s annual Inventory.
- Maintain communication with Supervisors regarding product recommendations to increase sales/inventory.
- Understands all Loss Prevention (LP) policies and procedures and communicate LP issues with Store Manager.
- Operational Responsibilities include, but are not limited to salesfloor/backroom/restroom maintenance, cleaning, mopping etc.
Recruit Great Talent:
- Responsible for proactively networking/recruiting qualified candidates to ensure proper backfill for all positions. Seek internal/external candidates with a proven ability to develop and maintain sincere, authentic relationships.
- Assist the Store Manager when selecting, training, and coaching Associates/Supervisors and ensures that policies and procedures are adhered to.
Achieve Sales Goals:
- Follows through on customer requests for specific items and suggests additional products.
- Use selling skills by explaining benefits, features, prices, quality, value, and other product information.
- Establish a Collaborative Selling Culture in the Store, ensuring Associates/Supervisors are trained in all IT’SUGAR selling training programs.

What you need to join the fun (besides SUGAR):
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of retail experience.
- Prior sales and management experience in a retail environment required.
- Willing to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to use a POS/cash register.
- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
- Able to independently lift/move up to 25 lbs. Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs with assistance.
