Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU

Location: Charlotte, NC

Rate: $1900 Weekly

Shift: 36hrs - 3x12hrs - 7a-7p - Days

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As an ICU Nurse, you will provide specialized care to critically ill patients, monitor their conditions, and administer treatments as necessary. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, laboratory values, and diagnostic test results
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions
• Utilize electronic medical record systems (such as Cerner) for documentation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 18 months of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in an ICU or critical care unit
• Proficiency in performing advanced clinical procedures such as CT scans, gastric lavage, sterile processing, etc.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
• Experience working with diverse patient populations including behavioral health patients
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
