We are currently expanding the team in Asia and is seeking a Regional Operations & Commercial Manager - Asia . This is a group level role which would cover both Eames Consulting and ECMS in Asia.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Management of the Operations and Commercial Management teams in our Asia offices

  • Conduct full training, monitor performance and conduct weekly 121’s and quarterly appraisals

  • Coach, support, manage and motivate teams to achieve high levels of performance and their full potential

  • Escalation point for commercial management team and consultants regarding terminations and contractual queries

  • Support the Operations Director with the oversight, design and redesign, if required, of all business operations within the Eames Group, ensuring they are efficient and effective, and global processes are followed where appropriate

  • Act as a facilitator and additional point of co-ordination, in line with the Operations Director, for all operational issues, providing appropriate support, advice and guidance to all company stakeholders.

  • Ensuring client updates regarding signed terms/MSAs, termination of agreements and MSP relationships on the system are kept up to date

  • Overall responsibility for legislative compliance, including but not limited to the licenses, registrations and work pass management for the Asia offices, with direct responsibility for actioning this for the Philippines office

  • Oversee pricing and SOW generation, ensuring pricing is calculated and contracts have been issued correctly

  • Ensure that company policies, procedures and processes are kept up to date in line with legislative changes

  • Mirror client contracts into our contractor’s contract templates

  • Employment law advisory and governance, including training with new contracts consultants on our process and legislation

  • Review and summarise client TOBs and MSAs for the Asia offices, ensuring SLAs are communicated to the business and any risks are highlighted and then mitigated

  • Coordinate all PSL & RFI proposals and tenders across Asia, with support from the UK Operations team where required

  • Contract negotiation with suppliers and office lease management for the Asia offices

  • Project manage initiatives and implementations for the Asia offices, in conjunction with the UK Operations teams where required


Experience/Interpersonal Skills Required

  • IT literate and confident using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive and SharePoint. Experience with Salesforce would be advantageous but not required

  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively

  • Promptly highlight potential problems and issues with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to come up with creative solutions to issues

  • Previous experience working in the recruitment sector

  • Excellent time management, organisation and planning skills

  • Experience with developing and implement initiatives, demonstrating the creative ability to maximise business opportunities

  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service and the highest quality service to internal and external stakeholders

  • Consistency display a positive and helpful attitude towards others

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
