Job Description

As Logistics Managers at IGT Glass Hardware, your role is pivotal in overseeing and optimizing our logistics and supply chain operations. You will develop and implement strategies to meet company objectives and customer requirements, coordinate transportation activities including negotiating contracts and optimizing routes, manage warehouse operations for efficient inventory control, and monitor logistics performance metrics for continuous improvement. Collaboration with procurement and production teams, adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders are key aspects of this position. Additionally, you will lead and mentor logistics staff, evaluate technology solutions, manage budgets, and drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field.

• Proven experience (3+ years) in logistics management, preferably in the manufacturing or distribution industry.

• Strong knowledge of logistics principles, practices, and software systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS, SQL).

• Knowledge in SAP Business One is a plus.

• Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Compliance Rate (OSHA and insurance audits).
• Licenses & Permits renewals.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities.

• Leadership qualities with a focus on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for transportation, warehousing, and international trade.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics-related software applications.

• Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish).

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The Logistics Manager role may require occasional travel, lifting of moderate-weight objects, and working in warehouse or distribution center environments.
