We are now hiring a Quality Inspector!

You will be part of a global inspection team assuring quality of components and assemblies that this global aerospace leader is sourcing from one or more suppliers in the area. Once on the team you will be deployed through SQA's operations center based on client need and each supplier's production schedule.

Location: Milwaukee, WI \u007C Schedule: Part-Time (20 hrs. a week) \u007C Contract: 6 months\u007C

Responsibilities:
Inspection of GEN centers and enclosures, which can be bigger than a semi-truck
Level 2 electro-mechanical inspector. Visual inspection, test witnessing, general dimensional inspection, plus wiring and connector inspection
Inspection services include visual, physical, and dimensional (both in-process and final) of machined, electro-mechanical, and other parts, according to Google's requirements and specifications
Inspection may consist of, but not be limited to, the following activities
Incoming inspection from external providers of products or services/processing (e.g., nickel plating)
In-process and final inspection of critical features such as witness inspection
Compilation of final inspection sign-off sheet and report packages
Verification that inspection equipment used to take measurements is capable of detecting defects
Verification that inspection methodology is adequate per drawing intent
Audit and validate the execution to the inspection plan
Provide weekly reports of manufacturing sites ramp progress, equipment quality performance of the facility, delivery details by Data Center site
Conduct periodic quality audits of the supplier’s factory, provide reports of results
Drive closure of findings identified as non-conformance
Ensuring supplier’s quality control system document the findings
Provide customer witness for test scripts, including but not limited to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for all equipment

Skills and qualifications:
Experience inspecting generators or other power sources
4+ years of experience

Must be able to pass a background check and meet ITAR requirements.
