Our Client is a manufacturer and supplier of petroleum and gas handling products. They distribute their products domestically and internationally and are looking for a talented individual to join their top-of-the-line engineering team at their Wilson, NC Headquarters. The ideal candidate for this job is skilled in mechanical and quality engineering and has the ambition and team management skills to grow into a leadership role at this company.

Job Responsibilities -

• Interpret existing quality control processes and procedures, and implement new protocols as needed.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes, materials, and finished products. Analyze data and performance metrics to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead investigations into quality-related incidents or customer complaints, and develop solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Provide technical support and training to production and quality assurance personnel to enhance their understanding of quality requirements and standards.

Job Requirements -

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2 or more years of experience working in Mechanical Engineering.
• Understanding of quality management best practices and common methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills, and capacity to collaborate across departments regularly.
• Excellent team management skills
