For printing / laminating / converting business

We are looking for a full-time Quality Control/Lab Technician for our manufacturing plant in Warminster, PA. Finish Tech is in the laminating/printing/converting business. Knowledge or experience in plastic films, converting, laminating, or printing/converting is useful, but we will train the right candidate. Position is ideal for students pursuing chemistry/science degrees or retiring, experienced people still wanting to work. Good opportunity to advance.

Duties include:

• Run product quality checks
• Insure production documentation and sample retains are complete and filed
• Perform laboratory testing for raw material inspection and new product development
• Data entry in Quality Control system
• Maintain lab testing equipment and supplies
• Housekeeping of QC Lab area to ensure safe, organized and compliant environmental conditions
• Work with both vendors and customers directly using excellent communication skills

Requirements:

• Minimum of high school diploma. No college degree necessary.
• Candidate should have interest in science and good math skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a cross functional team environment, collaborating with others or working independently
• Good computer skills - should have a working knowledge of Word, Excel and Access
• Daytime hours
• Valid driver's license
