AGP is looking for a Quality Automation Developer to create and execute the assigned tasks per the various test automation initiatives and plans related to functional, smoke, and regression testing, test data management, and test environment strategy and provisioning. This role is accountable for creating quality initiatives, focusing on delivering high-quality applications to our clients in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with the software development teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze product and technical user stories, requirements, and functional and non-functional design specifications and create manual test cases.
  • Guide the building and maintaining of the infrastructure to build and execute automation scripts.
  • Coordinate the development of QA methodology, templates, and best practices for testing.
  • Collaborate with other teammates to develop test strategies to tackle complex testing scenarios.
  • Recommend improvements to testing processes, technology, and interfaces that improve the effectiveness of testing teams and reduce technical debt.
  • Create integration testing strategies with the development teams to assist with the speed and quality of deployments.
  • Create functional testing strategies with business stakeholders to ensure development teams deliver the requested value.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology (IT) or equivalent.
  • No less than 2-5 years of IT related experience.
  • Previous experience in the agricultural or manufacturing industries is a plus.
  • Proven ability to coach agile mindset.
  • Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops a plus.
  • Experience in analyzing application solutions to improve business processes.
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 production environment to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Planning and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as function effectively as a team player.
  • Problem solving skills along with the ability to pay close attention to detail.
