Our need:

We are a fast-growing startup with a need for someone to join the team to support our operations and finance teams as we expand across the country.

Finance: this role will oversee all aspects of food and beverage COGs for all locations, and ensure that our inventory management, ordering, and costs are optimized and scalable.

Operations: this role will also assist with operational projects, including but not limited to managing maintenance and repair for the parks and engaging with vendors.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in optimizing costs for all Bark Social products:
  • Develop and maintain communications with all vendors (food, beverage, and service companies) associated with Bark Social to achieve and sustain the best possible deals and costs for the company
  • Work with in-store managers to maintain a streamlined and accurate process for accurate inventory and COGs
  • Work with our finance department and in-store management teams to develop and maintain our inventory management platforms:
  • Ensure that all invoices are submitted, paid, and properly filed in order to keep accurate records of company purchases
  • Analyze financial reports and invoices to maintain optimal costs on all products
  • Oversee commissary production and ordering:
  • Develop and train new menu items for each location
  • Oversee and manage weekly orders at all locations
  • Assist in deliveries as needed
  • Train managers and all relevant staff on the Bark Social way (SOPs) of ordering, purchasing, inventory management, and any new product rollouts
  • Support in-store and warehouse operations as needed, including:
  • Coordinating with vendors and contractors
  • Troubleshooting existing systems
  • Train staff during new store openings
  • Coordinate projects and communication with corporate partners, vendors, and contractors
  • Work on special projects as the need arises, including:
  • Pulling and analyzing data reports
  • Vetting and recommending new vendors
  • Researching best practices
  • Support in-store shifts as necessary

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a clear communicator and able to easily convey information both in written form and verbally
  • Is organized, can execute on standard operating processes, and has a keen eye for detail
  • Has inventory management experience
  • Has experience working within restaurants and the hospitality industry
  • Is able to handle multiple requests with grace and poise

Salary & Benefits:

  • $65,000+ base salary commensurate with experience with four quarterly bonuses
  • Eligible for Medical Insurance, 401k with employer match, and generous PTO after 90 day intro period. The company also offers dental, vision, life and disability insurance.
