Job Description: Project Controls & Scheduler Lead

KNL is on the lookout for a Project Controls & Scheduler Lead to join our team, operating directly onsite with our client. This role is key to supporting the delivery of operational and capital projects by managing financials and schedules effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

o Develop a thorough understanding of project scopes and schedules for assigned areas.

o Manage and take ownership of the capital cost file, investigating budget variances, and managing SOWs and purchase orders.

o Prepare and present financial reporting by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

o Collate data from project teams to report on scope, schedule, and budget.

o Develop owner verification schedules and coordinate operational readiness schedules.

o Support the review of contractor schedule submissions and evaluate detailed schedules.

o Evaluate claims and make appropriate recommendations.

Basic Requirements:

o Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

o 8+ years of relevant experience, with a preference for those who have worked on $30M+ projects in the pharmaceutical sector.

o Excellent IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and job-related computer applications.

o Experience with Ariba for the generation, processing, and reporting of purchase orders is an advantage.

o Strong analytical skills and experience in financial management and budget tracking.

o Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

o Fully conversant with standard forms of contracts and able to apply resourcing to schedule activities.
