Manage processes related to contract administration, and sourcing of products for all CCH entities. Works to ensure appropriate compliance to GPO contract portfolio, oversight of the contract database. Participates in sourcing activities in conjunction with other supply chain staff and leadership. Participates in Peoplesoft related activities with IT as appropriate.
Description:

5. Works collaboratively with Manager, Value Analysis and Manager, Purchasing to facilitate contracts across the system for supplies, equipment and services.

6. Negotiation of contracts as requested, working in collaboration with supply chain staff and agreement/contract requestors.

7. Assists in the Request for Proposal and competitive bid process as appropriate.

8. Responsible for initial contract review, facilitation of changes to wording and/or terms, and coordinating execution of agreements.

9. Participate in the product conversion process in conjunction with the Purchasing, Inventory Manager, Logistics/Distribution, and clinical staff.

10. Maintenance of the contract management system, providing appropriate upload documents and data to insure contracts are complete and accurate.

11. Responsible for insuring proper pricing for goods and services.

12. Assists in invoice match resolution related to contract terms and pricing, as directed by supply chain leadership.

13. Educates both Clinicians and Materials Management on supply chain matters in the respective area of expertise. in an effort to reach a mutual consensus while being respectful of each areas distinct perspective.

14. Participates in management of the GPO relationship, including contract activation.

15. Provides reports around the contract process, including expiration data reporting, GPO compliance level, etc.

16. Interfaces with CCHC Clinical Education, as needed, to assist in scheduling new product and equipment staff in-services.

17. Demonstrates interest in self-improvement, professional development and competency maintenance by attending appropriate classes, workshops and seminars.

18. Consistently provides service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers and co-workers.

19. Challenges current working practices; identifies process improvement opportunities and presents recommendations and solutions to management. Engages and commits to the organization’s culture of continuous improvement by actively participating, supporting, and promoting CCHC Pillars of Excellence.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or three to five years materials management experience.
  • Progressive experience in healthcare supply chain management, value analysis and product experience is preferred.
  • Clinical background is a plus but is not required.
  • Meeting facilitation, leadership, organization, change management and presentation skills.
  • Advanced PC skills, e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point.
