Company Overview: The Carby Corporation is a leader in deep drawn metal components manufacturing parts worldwide for the aerospace, automotive, medical and electronic industries, amongst others.

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of goods, meeting quality standards, and managing a team of production workers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal working processes and a proven track record of leadership in a manufacturing environment.

Duties:

- Plan, organize, and coordinate production activities to meet production targets and deadlines

- Monitor production processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment

- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing department to ensure availability of materials

- Train, supervise, and evaluate production staff to ensure high performance and adherence to quality standards

- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality control, to resolve production issues and implement process improvements

- Implement production schedules to optimize resource utilization

- Monitor product quality throughout the production process to ensure compliance with specifications

Skills:

- Strong knowledge mechanical equipment used in manufacturing processes

- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

- Strong problem-solving abilities to address production issues promptly

- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

- Leadership skills to motivate and manage a team of production workers

- Proven track record of successfully supervising a production workforce

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field experience

-Minimum of 15 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably metal working related, with at least 10 years in a managerial or leadership role

-Strong knowledge of metal working processes and equipment
