We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Extrusion Production Manager to join our team in Tukwila, WA. The Day-to-Day:

• Develop and maintain community relations and community outreach programs.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with peer groups.
• Display accessibility for a 24/7 operation, ensuring commitment to availability.
• Coordinate daily activities within the facility.
• Collaborate with peers in decision-making across various areas including procurement, safety, production, scheduling, shipping, mixing, office administration, quality control, maintenance, and human resources.
• Ensure proper spare parts inventory and raw material procurement.
• Uphold safety standards to provide a secure work environment.
• Utilize comprehensive knowledge of plant equipment and operations.
• Work with the scheduling group to ensure timely production of materials.
• Oversee all aspects of quality control, including managing third-party inspections and maintaining company quality standards.
• Manage the maintenance department and crew.
• Handle human resources tasks such as payroll, insurance, and enforcement of rules.

Qualifications:

• Possess a strategic mindset with demonstrated leadership skills.
• Hold a B.S. or B.A. Degree or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Have 5+ years of extrusion experience with production supervisory experience.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.
• Experience managing multiple shifts and manufacturing personnel in a fast-paced environment.
• Track record of meeting production goals.
• Strong technical aptitude, including troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in mentoring and coaching supervisors and associates.
• Familiarity with safety records, cost per pound, weight efficiency, and 5S Programs Audits.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.

Pay Rate:

• $80,000 to $100,000 /per yr
