Product Leader - Cloud Printing

Summary:

The RF-SMART Cloud Printing Product Leader identifies, validates, and prioritizes market requirements and defines how those new features should operate in order to provide a great user experience and properly transact in NetSuite. To do that, the Product Leader interacts with the market, customers, and internal stakeholders to establish roadmaps, writes detailed user stories, provides acceptance criteria to product engineering, performs reviews and tests, and ultimately approves the new features. This is a critical and visible role in the RF-SMART Product Strategy and Management organization.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Product Strategy to understand and shape the vision and strategy for RF-SMART Cloud Printing.
  • Research and analyze markets, competition, customers, and users to establish and prioritize product recommendations.
  • Work with product strategy, other product teams, and internal stakeholders to establish product roadmap and vision.
  • Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for product related queries.
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience, integration, and dependencies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product.
  • Understand and/or be able to quickly determine how the platforms transacts to ensure that RF-SMART Cloud Printing capabilities are designed and built-in alignment with the platform.
  • Write clear user stories that product engineering will use to write code for new features.
    • This includes defining the desired user experience and the corresponding transactional results.
    • This includes functional and performance acceptance criteria.
  • Schedule and lead feature design sessions with product engineering and other stakeholders.
  • Perform functional User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify that newly developed features meet the desired objectives and acceptance criteria.
  • Interact with customers, product teams, sales & marketing teams, and services teams to collect feedback, provide guidance, and train others on new features.
  • Provide ad hoc guidance to services and support on product capability, customer use cases, and viability of modification.
  • Serve as the internal “go-to person” for learning about RF-SMART Cloud Printing platforms and technologies (NetSuite, OCI, AWS, etc.), including remaining aware of newly released capabilities/limitations that could impact RF-SMART.
  • Set Development priorities and interact with developers during the ongoing development process on technical and functional approaches for new development and maintenance activities.
  • Perform Alpha, Beta and Early Adopter coordination and communication, including customer reviews, needs/requirements assessments, installations/implementations, analysis, etc.
  • Validate submitted issues from support and prioritize work on product fixes and/or enhancements.
  • Review product documentation and engage with our technical writers to ensure content fit and accuracy.
  • Responsible for platform certification activities.
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives.

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent working experience.
  • Working experience with Cloud Printing in an ERP supply chain applications (NetSuite preferred).
  • Working understanding of cloud printing related technologies such as ZPL, PDF, BRO, and FreeMarker is highly preferred.
  • Experience with label and document designers such as Nice Label, Bartender, Clear Label, or Zebra Label Designer is a strong plus.
  • Deep understanding of Standards/Barcodes including GS1, HIBCC, AIDC Types, etc. is highly desired.
  • Understanding of printing hardware and infrastructure.
  • Direct experience with Mobile Supply Chain applications is preferred.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, organizational, and writing skills are required.
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • The desire to solve varied business challenges across diverse customer and stakeholder needs.
  • Creative, motivated team player who possesses attention to detail.
