Role Purpose Statement
Role Purpose Statement:
- Strategic Support: Supports the Head of Procurement in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and cleanliness of procurement master data across SAP and other related systems. This includes the initiation, development, and oversight of procedures and tech-neologies to prevent incorrect data entry and to continuously cleanse bad data
- Category Ownership: Manages sub-categories, ensuring that procurement activities are aligned with LSG Sky Chefs' quality and service standards.
- Strategy Alignment: Lead strategic projects focused on enhancing the company's master data management capabilities, improving data quality, and supporting procurement efficiency and compliance.
- Comprehensive Management: Oversees the category from sourcing to purchase support, optimizing the supply chain for LSG Sky Chefs' unique catering needs.
- Sourcing Expertise: Audits sourcing activities, applying extensive experience to streamline procurement processes and drive strategic outcomes.
Main Accountabilities

- Governance and Policy Development: Establish robust governance frameworks and policies for master data management that align with corporate objectives and compliance requirements.
- Data Quality Assurance: Implement systems and processes for ongoing data validation, correction, and enhancement, ensuring data integrity across procurement functions.
- System Integration and Management: Oversee the integration and proper functioning of master data within SAP and other procurement-related systems, ensuring seamless operations and data consistency.
- Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to monitor, report, and improve data quality metrics, contributing to strategic decisions and operational efficiencies.
- Training and Change Management: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on master data management practices, tools, and policies to ensure organization-wide adherence and competency.
- Market Analysis and Risk Management: Conduct thorough market analysis to anticipate industry trends and inform strategic sourcing decisions, while also implementing risk management strategies to protect LSG Sky Chefs from supply chain disruptions.
- Sustainable and Ethical Sourcing: Uphold LSG Sky Chefs’ commitment to ethical sourcing by implementing procurement practices that prioritize environmental stewardship and social responsibility, aligning with global sustainability standards.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Education: Bachelor's in Information Systems, Business, or related. Master's or certifications in data management preferred.
Experience: Proven track record in master data management within a procurement context. Experience with SAP systems, especially in data quality and governance. Solid procurement background in food service or airline catering
Technical Skills: Expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), data analytics, and visualization tools. Familiarity with procurement and supply chain processes.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, leadership, and communication abilities. Aptitude for strategic thinking and problem solving. Effective at training and change management.
Industry Insight: Deep knowledge of airline catering supply chains, ethical sourcing, and market trends.
Interpersonal Abilities: Excellent negotiation, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
