Job Description:


The Pricing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies to optimize profitability and maximize sales growth. You will analyze market trends, competitors, and customer demand to make data-driven pricing decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


Essential Functions:

  • Maintain pricing matrices and markups, including customer-specific pricing.
  • Set up, track, calculate, and issue payment for any customer rebates.
  • Track and provide reporting on customer compliance with vendor programs to support sales team.
  • Review and process in the system any pricing changes from vendors, including inputting terms into the system, updating new items, preparing customer notifications, and assessing impact of changes on INW price points.
  • Use established models to complete customer lifetime value analysis to establish pricing to support the sales team on new account acquisition efforts.
  • Model terms of proposed long-term customer contracts and rebate programs to assess profitability.
  • Support RFP preparation efforts for any large chain, government, or tribal contracts.
  • Monitor market pricing on core products and optimize INW pricing to maximize profitability.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in pricing strategy development and implementation in the Wholesale industry.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using pricing tools and software, with expertise in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of the wholesale industry and understanding of market dynamics and pricing trends.
