Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Biller and Clinical Services Coordinator. This multifaceted position involves managing durable medical equipment billing processes, administering in-store vaccines (including offsite vaccine clinics as needed), conducting Comprehensive Medication Reviews (CMR) and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services, and providing continuous glucose monitor support. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient billing operations and delivering exceptional clinical services to our valued patients.

Durable Medical Equipment Billing:

  • Coordinate and oversee billing processes for durable medical equipment.
  • Verify insurance coverage, process claims accurately, and ensure timely reimbursement.
  • Stay updated on billing regulations and compliance requirements

In-Store and Offsite Vaccine Clinics:

  • Administer vaccines to customers in the pharmacy, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Organize and participate in offsite vaccine clinics as needed, ensuring the delivery of vaccinations to the community.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of administered vaccines and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Educate patients on the importance of vaccinations and address related inquiries.

Goal:

  • Administer a minimum of 10 vaccines per day to contribute to community health and achieve vaccination targets.

Comprehensive Medication Reviews (CMR) and Medication Therapy Management (MTM):

  • Conduct Comprehensive Medication Reviews for eligible patients to optimize medication therapy.
  • Provide Medication Therapy Management services, collaborating with healthcare providers to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Document interventions and recommendations accurately and communicate them effectively.

Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) Support:

  • Assist patients in the setup and management of continuous glucose monitors.
  • Educate patients on proper usage, data interpretation, and troubleshoot common issues.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to address concerns and optimize CGM use.

Customer Service:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing support as needed.
  • Cultivate a friendly and approachable environment, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for billing, clinical services, and other relevant documentation.
  • Adhere to all regulatory guidelines, ensuring compliance with pharmacy standards.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in pharmacy billing, in-store and offsite vaccine administration, and clinical services.
  • Familiarity with durable medical equipment billing processes and insurance verification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of medication therapy management and comprehensive medication review processes.
  • Experience in supporting continuous glucose monitoring systems is a plus.
  • Active nursing license in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications and pharmacy management systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
