The Location:

The Organization:

Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District is home to 18,000+ residents. Formed initially as Williamson County Municipal Utility District No. 2 in 1977, BCMUD provides water and wastewater services, recreational activities, beautiful gardens, parks, and miles of trails through the Brushy Creek community. BCMUD operates four swimming pools, four tennis courts, and a disc golf course throughout the community.

At the heart of our District is the Brushy Creek Community Center. Our Community Center features two gyms, two racketball courts, weight room, rock wall, and recreational programming, including various fun activities, educational and fitness classes.

Brushy Creek employs approximately 190 seasonal, part-time, and full-time team members.

Personal Trainer:

Brushy Creek MUD is hiring high energy, fitness-minded Personal Trainer to help our members achieve their potential through fitness by providing customized programs to our members including education and guidance on proper nutrition, cardiovascular exercise, resistance training, and other programs.

Job Duties:

  • Conduct service appointments with members which include body fat analysis, proper use of fitness equipment, and proper form of exercises.
  • Advise members on ways to achieve their fitness goals.
  • Develop individualized exercise programs consistent with our members' personal fitness and exercise goals.
  • Monitor and assist members to ensure proper form is used when performing exercises
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of recreational equipment

Minimum Requirement:

  • Maintain current certification/license, or ability to attain certification/license within 90 days of hire:
    • American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED
  • Must be certified upon hire through one of the following programs:
    • NFPT Certified Personal Trainer
    • AFAA Certified Personal Trainer
    • ACE Personal Training Certification
    • ACSM Exercise Specialist
    • Certified through Cooper Aerobics Center
    • NSCA Certified

Schedule:

  • Part-time up to 20 hours a week, morning shift between 5:30 am to 12 pm
