Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck/Parts Driver to join our team. As a Tow Truck/Parts Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently towing and transporting vehicles to designated locations, and picking up parts from various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent driving skills and mechanical knowledge. Tow truck operation will be as needed and may not be everyday. Parts pick up is also as needed. In downtime candidate will be asked to do miscellanous task around the shop. Candidate should have basic knowledge of following directions, taking out trash/scrap, emptying containers, and other jobs around the shop.

Responsibilities:

-Pick up an drop off parts

- Operate a tow truck to transport vehicles to designated locations

- Safely load and secure vehicles onto the tow truck, ensuring proper balance and weight distribution

- Utilize a flatbed or other towing equipment as necessary

- Navigate through traffic and follow all traffic laws and regulations

- Take out trash and scrap

-Other tasks associated with the maintenance of shop

-Assist owner

-Pickup/drop off customers if needed

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

-Medical driving card (we will provide resources to obtain one if you do not have already)

- Previous experience operating a tow truck or similar commercial driving experience preferred

- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus

- Ability to operate a forklift is an asset

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

-Willingness to apadt to work environment to get the job done.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
