Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. Driver will be responsible for operating commercial vehicle on an established route in a safe and efficient manner according to all company and federal regulations. Driver will deliver a variety of food products to customer locations. Verify invoice counts and exchange paperwork with customer employees. Follow all FMCSA safety regulations such as inspections, logging all driving time, request and log any needed repairs so that vehicle is safe to operate, and any other company regulations.
Requirements
- Candidate requires a high school level of knowledge.
- Must possess driving record for 3 years.
- Must possess Background check.
- Must possess and maintain Class 10 License and medical card.
- Ability to work independently without close supervision is required. A minimum of two years’ experience with driving a commercial vehicle is required. Adaptability to night driving and different road weather conditions
- Must have the ability to communicate with customers, company management and state highway personnel.
- Must be able to lift upwards to 40 LBS and move racks from dock to dock and in some cases on truck liftgates.
- Must be able to operate electric pallet jack.
- Ability to clearly hear and talk is necessary for safe driving.
- Understand and Practice food safety with a variety of food temperature requirements.
