Deliver-it is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee operations in NV.

We are a company that is growing at a reasonable rate and have the need for an Operations Manager to add to our team. We need someone that is responsible, dedicated, detail oriented, organized, and has great ability to communicate with our drivers and the rest of our team.

This position is all about Customer Service so constant contact between customers and drivers is necessary. Other tasks include computer entry, filing, light cleaning, and other office duties.

Duties:

  • Develop delivery routes and maintain contact with drivers throughout the day.
  • Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers.
  • Act as a communication liaison text and phone and answer incoming phone calls from drivers on the road.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with drivers, customer care and customers to manage route productivity, quality, and prioritization of customer requests.
  • Monitor any sudden route changes or road construction issues and work with drivers to establish new routes for timely deliveries.
  • Addressing problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions.
  • Receiving and dispatching orders for hot and same-day deliveries.
  • Manages job boards ensuring that jobs are closed, and PODs are entered properly.
  • Manages service failure recovery and communicates plans to the drivers, dispatch team, customer care and management.
  • Proactively track shipments monitoring new and at-risk accounts.
  • Supports drivers with address corrections, directions, gate codes and other customer information to expedite problem delivery resolution.
  • Go on the road if the operation requires it in order to fulfill service obligations.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

  • Valid NV driver’s license with clean DMV record.
  • Ability to learn and utilize smart phone applications for clocking in/out and managing deliveries.
  • Ability to lift 35lbs.
  • Ability to sit, type, text and speak on the phone for up to 100% of the shift.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Previous managing experience preferred.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Operations management: 1 year (Preferred)
