The Technology, Strategy, and Optimization team is responsible for the exciting role of partnering with both product and operating teams to finalize project requirements. In this role, as an Operations Automation Project Manager, you will act as a bridge, ensuring that these requirements not only meet strategic goals but also align with the operating teams' technical feasibility and real-world needs. By keeping a pulse on the ever-evolving tech landscape, they ensure the organization remains well-equipped to address future challenges and capitalize on new opportunities for growth.
What You'll Do:
  • Work across enterprise groups to help support technical aspects of projects, focused on AI implementation and automation/improvement
  • Overall management and project support for products that are integral to the Travel Consultant ecosystem
  • Focus on product strategy and development within the Travel Consultant (TC) ecosystem
  • Collaborate with internal partners (sales, engineering, design, marketing, and customer support teams) to review technical requirements and design
  • Lead all aspects of API development, documentation, and developer support strategies
  • Define and track success metrics for both individual tools and the overall ecosystem (adoption, usage, feature performance, customer satisfaction)
  • Work with vendors and partners to define breakthroughs and project updates
  • Expand servicing vision by connecting internal product and engineering groups
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience in project management methodology
  • 3 years' experience within product management, ideally within technical or developer-focused tools
  • Strong communication skills and able to drive effective discussions with project resources
  • Knowledge of relevant business processes and related technology solutions
  • Stakeholder management and ability to influence decision making, change management
  • Background in software development concepts, data structures, system design
  • Familiarity with building or managing platforms/ecosystems, along with knowledge of API development
  • Proficiency within data analysis

Location
United States - Virtual Location

The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $70,000 to $140,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
