Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a rear load trash truck to pick up residential and commercial waste and
transport waste to a waste removal facility
- Safely hook up and empty 2,4,6 and 8YD dumpsters
- Ensure proper securing of loads to prevent falling and damages while emptying
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and report any maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate with office and supervisor to receive instructions and updates on routes
-Carefully follow a route sheet to ensure that each customer is serviced/no missed stops -
-Other duties as assigned

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving trash trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles
- Valid Driver's License; Clean driving record
- Experience with pre-trip procedures
- Familiarity with following a route sheet
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for operating large vehicles
