Foxconn Interconnect Technology is seeking entry level Development Engineer at our Harrisburg, PA office.

Job Description:

Specific duties to be performed:

• Collaborate with the FIT Taipei R&D team and interface with them to support various projects including but not limited to machine design, mechanical engineering, design for manufacturing, and translation.
• Investigate manufacturing issues and improve manufacturing process. Research and report on advanced manufacturing techniques in precision machining for molding stamping dies.
• Provide input to USR&D team and tooling engineers on part designs, design for manufacturing.
• Generate power-points, engineering data and reports on current projects for upper management review.
• Work and communicate directly with the shop.
• Learn about and leverage prototyping and manufacturing processes used in Harrisburg (additive, EDM, milling, turning, CNC, stamping, molding, metrology).
• Willing to travel occasionally to manufacturing and R&D sites internationally and domestically for training and communication purposes.

Education/Certification: Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or Associate degree

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Associate degree and minimum of 3 years’ experience in connector manufacturing.
• College Graduates will be considered.
• Experience with CAD, SolidWorks preferred
• Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin are required.
• Solid mechanical aptitude.
