Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer with a specialization in Fluid Systems to join our client's engineering team. This role involves the design, analysis, and implementation of fluid systems in aerospace applications, contributing to the development of cutting-edge spacecraft and propulsion technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex fluid systems for aerospace applications, including propulsion, thermal management, and life support systems.
  • Conduct simulations and modeling of fluid dynamics to optimize system performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate fluid systems with other spacecraft subsystems.
  • Participate in the full lifecycle of projects, from concept through design, testing, and implementation.
  • Apply expertise in material science to select appropriate materials for fluid systems that meet the operational requirements of space environments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in fluid systems design and analysis, preferably within the aerospace industry.
  • Strong proficiency in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software and other simulation tools.
  • Knowledge of aerospace materials and their compatibility with different fluids under extreme conditions.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines and resources effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific safety and compliance standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
