Service Writer and Parts Manager

Up to $75,000 to start plus full benefits

JobGIraffe's client is a distributor of equipment for steel making, scrap, recycling, construction, attachments and parts.

As Service Writer and Parts Manager, you will:

• Review customer orders for accuracy and completeness
• Create and administer work orders
• Schedule production activities
• Perform inventory management and parts management functions
• Monitor inventory supply levels
• Perform vendor/supplier management functions
• Order additional parts and materials as necessary
• Coordinate activities for field service technicians
• Troubleshoot issues and complaints as they arise
• Escalate complex matters as necessary
• Perform additional document review, document control and document processing activities
• Handle special project
• Perform other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

• Service Writing / Service Writer experience
• Inventory Management experience
• Parts Management experience
• Mechanical aptitude

Pluses:

• +++ Related experience from a manufacturing environment
• +++ Related experience coordinating activities for service technicians
• +++ An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
