As an Account Manager, you will be responsible with securing, nurturing and building relationships with Clarivate’s Growth Customers in the US. You will employ consultative sales skills to identify, qualify and facilitate innovative solutions to key customers' problems.
About you:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science or a related field
  • Minimum 12 years Sales and Key Account management experience.
  • Experience in both territory and strategic account planning services with life sciences customers

  • Pharmaceutical experience preferred.
  • Experience of selling complex and bespoke data, insights or business intelligence solutions
What you will be doing in this role...
  • Meet assigned sales targets and performance KPIs
  • Strategic account development with a focus on nurturing existing relationships and identifying new opportunities and providing solutions to key Access & Commercialization challenges.
  • Conducting gap analysis for assigned Customers.
  • Optimizing the customer journey and experience.
  • Interfacing with all key buying influencers including Franchise/Department heads, Marketing, P&MA and Brand.
  • Create, present and execute strategic customer and territory plans.
  • Developing and maintaining collaborative internal relationships to help qualify and execute on large deals leveraging integrated solutions across Clarivate
  • Business Development and qualifying new leads to support a balanced pipeline for future sales.
  • Generating proposals and delivering / refining value propositions for key customer segments.
  • Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with Internal (DRG) and External (client) Stakeholders.

  • Track record of delivering results and exceeding sales quotas.

  • Confident self-starter with a proven track record of relevant successful business development and/or large-scale deal making experience
  • High Emotional Intelligence and above average interpersonal skills; An ability to listen and show empathy
  • Proactive; makes things happen and inspire others to take action
  • Thinks big; can see beyond the present and is not constrained by the status quo
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively, diligent in preparation and follow through on key initiatives and ideas
  • Clear thinker with proven ability to synthesize complex issues into simple messages
  • Team player, experience of working with cross-functional and international teams.
About the Team
This team manages our largest global customers across the Life Sciences & Healthcare segment business, handling multiple geographies
Hours of Work
  • This is a remote position for eastern time zone with option to work at any of our US offices
  • Expected travel up to 50%, including some international travel, is required
  • This is a full-time position, primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed.
