Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Log Truck Driver to join our team. As a Log Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely the log truck and transporting timber to designated locations. This position requires a valid commercial driver's license and the ability to operate different log trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate assigned truck, trailer and load and transport timber to specified locations

- Load and unload cargo coordinating with shovel operator and operate equipment at mills etc accoring to established procedures

- Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road

- Perform routine inspections of the truck and report any maintenance issues or damages

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or accidents

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any changes or delays

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times to ensure the well-being of yourself, other drivers, and pedestrians

Experience:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:

- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or similar role

- Familiarity with log trucksand trailers

- Basic knowledge of automotive repairs is beneficial

- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
