JOB TITLE: LANDSCAPE PRODUCTION LEADER
DEPARTMENT: PRODUCTION
REPORTS TO: LANDSCAPE DESIGN/SALES
SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for day to day operations of our landscape installation crew. Direction will be given by to crew leader to crew members to efficiently complete landscape project. Strong working knowledge of all aspects of landscape maintenance is required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead landscape installation crew on site to efficiently install landscape projects
  • Installation of trees, shrubs, perennials, grading, sodding, minor irrigation etc.
  • Ability to coordinate with designer/project manager to complete projects in a timely manner
  • Accurately complete daily project time/material sheets and turn in to management
  • Provide operator maintenance on all equipment used
  • Inspect all work quality by landscape installation crew
  • Train new landscape crew members for proper techniques and procedures on job site
  • Follow all safety procedures delegated by management and ensure crew follows same measures
  • Possess working knowledge and installation techniques for holiday lighting
  • Actively participate in snow operations
  • above duties are non-exhaustive and requires the employee to be fluid with tasks assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years experience in the landscape industry
  • Self motivated with the desire to lead
  • Ability to read blue prints, elevation drawings, and drainage maps
  • Strong communication skills with clients and fellow employees
  • Ability to problem solve if on-site issues arise
  • Understanding of proper landscape installation techniques including grading, drainage and irrigation
  • Extensive knowledge of landscape plants
  • Ability to operate small power and hand tools, skid steers, loaders, plows and snow removal equipment
  • Must demonstrate ability to efficiently manage landscape crew of 1-4 members and delegate responsibilities
  • Should be detail oriented and able to work well in a team environment or individually
  • Follow all safety procedures delegated by management
  • Must have a clean driving record and possess a valid driver's license with chauffer's endorsement
  • Capable of working in an outdoor environment (e.g., heat, rain, snow)
  • Should be able to consistently lift up to 50 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
